Kirtan Benefit for Ramana’s Garden

Come to a joyous occasion, where your contribution (in any amount) will provide great benefit for some very special children!
‘Kirtan’ is a Sanskrit word for interactive devotional singing. No experience is required. Singing will be call-and-response as well as directly from song sheets that will be provided. There will be instrumental accompaniment by harmonium, guitar, flutes and drums. Percussion instruments will be available for all to use.
At some point in the evening, Prabha, the founder of Ramana’s Garden, will deliver a short talk and answer questions about her amazing school. More details.

Each evening as we gather in the dome for singing, prayers and sharing, I offer up a prayer of my own. I pray that I’ll be guided in giving these 68 kids what they will need most to make a difference in a world where yesterday, 20 bombs went off in separate locations, and thousands of children are cast into the street or enslaved in child labour daily…
